We woke up to snow today (Friday) and due to Shauns job he was unable to work, Olivia’s such a daddy’s girl at the moment she was thrilled to have him home for the day.
We decided to go for a walk as Shaun didn’t feel it was a good idea to take the car out, we live in a cul de sac so can’t see what the main roads are like.
Typically though by the time we got our selves ready, a 2 year old, a 7 month old and grabbed the dog it started pouring with rain!
Good news was it melted the rain in about half an hour so we went to the local zoo’s soft play area instead, Bethany-Rae’s first visit!
Olivia loved it as always, especially as her daddy was chasing her around. It’s so nice to be able to let her have her independence and make her own way round and up and down the maze of routes to the slide, it’s not a big place so I can see her where ever she goes in there.
Bethany-Rae enjoyed her first experience of the soft play and was crawling round everywhere and enjoying the ball pit too.
We then went for a drive after so the girls could have a nap and then home for lunch and a cozy afternoon at home.
It’s always nice to have unexpected trips out I find, and sometimes they are more enjoyable and less stressful than if they are planned.
